跳华尔兹的两只蝴蝶，

正午时分，在田野，

一圈一圈，划得更远，

就像搭上了顺风车，

直至迷失自我，

卷进阳光的漩涡，

再没有回到地面，

就这样一去不还。

世上所有幸存的蝴蝶啊，

你们要记得，

记得那两只愚蠢的同类，

记得它们，曾向着光飞。

Two butterflies went out at Noon?

And waltzed upon a Farm –

And then espied Circumference

And caught a ride with him –

Then lost themselves and found themselves

In eddies of the sun

Till Gravitation missed them –

And both were wrecked in Noon –

To all surviving Butterflies?
